About Online Counselling
No matter where you are in the World you can access Online Counselling Help using Skype or Zoom. Research has consistently found that the therapeutic relationship over video counselling is just as strong as face to face counselling. Owing to the complexity and difficulties of our everyday lives, there is a rising demand for these therapeutic services in order to help with our emotional, psychological and physical difficulties. Stress, depression and anxiety are now common symptoms of our fast-paced modern times.
If you think you would benefit from seeing a Psychotherapist or Counsellor, but know that you would struggle to fit a series of face-to-face sessions into your busy schedule, online counselling via Skype or Zoom could be the best choice for you. Thanks to today’s technology, help can come right into your office or home, at a time that is convenient for you. You can talk about your issues with me online using a medium such as Skype or Zoom.
I firmly believe that having access to therapy from the comfort of your own home, office, or wherever you choose can help with the problems you experience.
Are online therapy sessions confidential?
You may be concerned that your therapy session is not as confidential as one held in the same room. I will only use an online therapy system that is encrypted between your computer and mine so that no one can eavesdrop on our conversation.
I will always conduct your online appointments in a private, secure room maintaining the same standards of privacy and confidentiality as in personal face to face therapy. I will advise you about how to make sure that you are also able to talk openly and confidentially from where you are.
Can you still have couples counselling, online?
Couples counselling can work with the couple in the same room and also with each partner in different places, you will all need to dial into the same platform together. If you would like to go ahead with Couples counselling, I will advise you how to set up Zoom to create a conference meeting.
